Newsletter November 25, 2018
Dear Friends, Comrades, Readers,
Again, quite a long time has passed since the last update. Thank you for your patience, and sorry for the delay.
These days I have been working literally 24/7, in Mexico, South Korea, Indonesia and in Syria.
Let me begin with SYRIA:
It was very emotional week in Damascus, Jobar, and Homs. I met common folks, as well as top Syrian educators, including Minister of Education, who is my fellow novelist. We spoke Russian, and it was wonderful exchange of ideas. Destruction inflicted by terrorists and by the West and its allies is simply horrendous. No words could describe it, and therefore I am taking tons of photos and working on at least two documentary films. I will be back in Syria soon. Such a great, proud and heroic nation! My reports will be published very soon, and I will send new newsletter with the links.
INDONESIA: I fight there on 'two fronts'. One is my monumental, epic project in Borneo (Indonesian part is called Kalimantan): the third biggest island on earth, fully ruined by greed and madness of local prostituted elites, and Western multi-national corporations. Here is the updated version of my appeal:
Saving Borneo - Updated Appeal
There is also a book project I am involved in there.
The Second Front (also extremely important, I believe), is filming horrors of totally degenerate (by capitalism, pop, and by servility to Western and Saudi culture) capital of the country - Jakarta. I recently published powerful essay about it:
Filming in the Most Depressing City on Earth – Jakarta
Of course, thousands of trolls were unleashed against me on Twitter. Indonesians did not only sank to African bottom when it comes to their quality of life, but they also lost all ability to compare, or to locate their country in the global context. If one tells them in what situation they exist, what follow are insults, threats, and immediate denouncements to TNI - military, police and immigration services ("citizens" demanding that critic gets immediately deported). Also, full of tweets claiming that author (me) should be killed next time, by, for instance, drowning, with stones attached to his feet. Well, in Indonesia, they committed 3 genocides, in recent history: 1965, East Timor and on-going one in West Papua, so, frankly, they are capable of anything. But, naturally, I am not going to stop my work!
SOUTH KOREA: After Mexico, I worked in South Korea on our latest book on "Ecological Civilization and China", with my friend and fellow philosopher, John Cobb Jr. Book has to go to print in December, 2018. Exciting stuff.
I also wrote an essay about Korea and how it should not be following 're-unification process model' of Germany:
Korea – Unification, but Does Not have to be ‘German Style’
Latest on MEXICO: Here comes second, longer report on Mexico:
Mexico: Is the End of Magic Imperialism Approaching?
LAOS and CHINA:
I went to Laos, to document great work China is doing there, building high-speed rail, energy sector, and helping with schools and hospitals. All this after horrid destruction inflicted here by the West during so-called "Secret War":
Laos – China is Building, West is Destroying and Spreading Nihilism
And I did not forget to lash at Saudi Arabia in this essay:
Saudi Arabia Must Be Stopped, and This Time Perhaps They Will Be Stopped?
PIRATING OF MY WORK: Yes, it is absolutely desperate situation. My work gets constantly 'pirated' by all sorts of media, particularly by the European magazines, newspapers, and now by television stations. Look at this: some Swiss TV station just took my essay about IRAN, and without consulting me, or paying me anything, made a film "about me and my essay". When I protested and tried to contact them, they just refused to communicate. Here is their original film in German:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuJbWmSjCiI
And now they even uploaded their film in English language:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDG7OXBgMCw&t=177s
This way they are literally starving all those few of us who are still fighting and supplying the world with war reports and reports from conflict zones. Well, I guess this is how Europe got rich, no, for centuries? By robbing people...
I appeared on PressTV, talking about Saudi Arabia and its deadly impact on the world:
PressTV: No final conclusion on Khashoggi killing
I was interviewed in Jakarta, right before my departure from the country by Indopress and Komunitas Pembelajar Islam:
Discussion with Andre Vltchek
And very important news: my book in Spanish, 'Contra el imperio' has been published beautifully by LOM publishing house in Santiago de Chile:
Contra el Imperio
Please read my books and support my work if you can. Read my books, read my essays, watch my films. Purchasing and reading them is the best support you can give to my work; to my struggle.

Newsletter October 8, 2018
Dear friends and comrades,
It has been a long time since the last newsletter. Apologies!
I did not stop working and traveling, all over the world, in the places so diverse and far apart as Japan, Jordan, Mexico, Borneo/Kalimantan, Korea and Iran.
Let me try to update here as much as I can.
My essay about the “Philosophical Coup Against the Left”, originally published by NEO, was translated to many languages and, hopefully, made some impact:
The West's Philosophical Coup Against the "Left"
I went back home (one of my bases) to Japan, visited again my friend, an Australian historian Geoffrey Gunn in Nagasaki, and then attacked Japan for obscuring, even denying its past, in my essay about Hashima Island. This island, also known as ‘Gunboat Island’ is one of the most haunted places on earth:
Japan’s Hashima Island: Brutal History and the Most Haunted Island on Earth
In Jordan, I described the kingdom as “a staunch ally of the West”:
Jordan – Staunch Western Ally – Angry and Confused
I went back to Iran. I had to reconnect and improve my work with PressTV. As always Tehran impressed me, enormously, and I wrote about it, also providing images:
Hello – They Lied to You About Iran!
I wrote, then, about Syrian school curriculum, and about bizarre smear campaign that was launched by Israel – a campaign which, actually, backfired:
Bizarre Israeli Analyses of Syrian Curriculum Circulate in the Middle East
Then a short story for China Daily:
West wrongly blames China for continent's woes
I highlighted dangerous but predictable Indonesia’s participation in the US-led military exercises in Asia:
Indonesia ‘Proudly’ Joins US-Led Exercises to Antagonize China
I wrote another essay on Western propaganda; how the West is twisting the past and present:
Syria or Southeast Asia – the West Lied, Lies, and Always Will
I converted my regular visit of Singapore into long and colorful essay with many photos, describing Singapore as highly successful, ‘crypto-Communist country’. Many agree, some will disagree, but I believe, it is quite fresh and interesting angle:
Singapore is Frightened, but it Defends its Own ‘Crypto-Communist’ Path
And my obsession again: media! I wrote about how even in some ‘revolutionary countries’, mass media is controlled by big business and right-wingers. I think that this story is particularly relevant now, considering what is taking place in Brazil!
Even in “Revolutionary Countries”, Mass Media Is Still in the Hands of the Right
Mexico… An incredible country. I used to live there, and I still love it. But it declined, battered by neo-liberalism and tremendous cynicism of mostly white elites. Being next door to the USA did not help. And so, I went back, in order to film, and to write a short book on Mexico’s ‘silent revolution’ (voting for Obrador):
Can President-elect Lopez Obrador pull Mexico out of slumber?
There were some interviews, and some important encounters. Here is a photo of me with Irma Sandoval-Ballesteros, who will soon be Minister in Obrador’s government, in charge of fighting endemic Mexican corruption:
I appeared few times on Press TV:
Interviewed by PressTV on Iran's Syria Stance
Interviewed by PressTV on Afghanistan (Truce in place as long as Taliban honor it)
And very importantly, Badak Merah published, in solidarity with Brazil, my book of essays, translated to Portuguese – “Por Lula”:
Por Lula
The madness continues! But I am not complaining – life is fascinating, and fighting against imperialism is truly enjoyable sort of activity!
Please read my work, and support the struggle!
